Acpi Ifx0102 1 Driver Sony Vaio

Hi people!
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 and lovin' it. It was able to work out of the box with every device in my laptop (Sony VGN-G21VN) apart from the Ricoh R5C843 SD Card Reader.
the output of my lspci (I'm sure it's attached via PCI) is as follows:
There is no Ricoh R5C843, nor R5C822 listed.
I've tried to boot the notebook with an SD card plugged in but no luck. I double checked that the sdhci module is running with modprobe but, again, no luck.
Here is the (I think relevant) modprobe -l output:
NOTE: all packages (including kernel) updated to the latest versions with apt.
Thanks in advance!
Mark

Hi, I have a problem with the driver (ACPI VENSNY & DEVA008 / ACPI SNYA008 /. SNYA008) for Sony VAIO (SVE1113M1E) 'Unknown device ' in Device Manager. Maybe someone knows a link to the driver, I'm sitting on this 3 day.
